Emerging duo DONT BLINK debut on Truesoul with the powerful "ACTIVATOR."
German-Estonian duo DONT BLINK produces a relentless tech sound, influenced by techno, progressive, and indie dance. Since their breakthrough 2018 release INSANE on Nervous Records, they have released albums on STEREOHYPE, Tomorrowland Music, Repopulate Mars, AETERNA, The Myth of NYX, and their own label, LOW CEILING, where their 2023 debut album, THE STATEMENT, was released. Their prolific output and growing popularity have fueled tours across South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia.
Their Truesoul debut is a high-octane dance experience. "ACTIVATOR" is a vibrant late-night banger, punctuated by a succession of bold vocal rhymes. DONT BLINK shares, "We wanted to create a song that would instantly raise the energy and get everyone pumped up. ACTIVATOR was the perfect concept, and luckily it rhymes with just about everything!"
Its accompanying track, "STIMULANTS," delivers on its promise: an intense, high-energy dance session thanks to a dynamic vocal sample. "We came up with the idea for 'STIMULANTS' while playing Frisbee on the beach in Bali. One of our younger classmates has ADHD, and we were talking about Ritalin and Adderall and their different effects on the brain and concentration. Her response: "We all need stimulants." It stuck with us instantly, so we had to record the vocals and turn it into a song!"
