Holty makes his first move on Izitdance Recordings with the First Base EP, a three-track introduction that feels aimed firmly at the dance-floor. There is a real sense of scale running through these productions, with each cut built for big rooms but never losing the tension and detail that gives club music staying power.

The record opens up with a firm, driving energy, locking into a widescreen groove that feels both functional and atmospheric. As we progress the record certainly leans darker and tighter, pushing a more heads-down momentum, while also giving a certain reflective edge, letting mood and motion sit side by side.

Framed by the artist as an early representation of a developing sound, First Base EP already suggests strong instincts and serious intent. For a first statement, it is confident, club-focused and full of promise, with plenty hinting that Holty has only just started to show where this project can go.
