Acid Arab, fluid Paris-based Franco-Algerian collective mingling Middle Eastern and electronic elements, announces their fourth studio album ‘Resonance’, out in full June 19^th on imprint All Night Long. The 16-track album is heralded by single ‘Yasmine Alsham’ ft. Wael Alkak, out now and accompanied by an extensive European tour (dates below). 

‘Resonance’ LP reaffirms the eminent group’s core principles – collaborations with artists from the Arab world, meticulous sound and production values - to craft a musical landscape freed from geography, celebrating diverse cultures to honour a profoundly humanist unity. Their previous globally acclaimed album ‘Trois (٣(’ included Algerian gasba, Anatolian trance, & bionic raï. For ‘Resonance’, the group collaborate with a prestigious guest list of artists including Ghita Lahmamassi, Sofiane Saidi, Yasmine Hamdan, and Wael Alkak on the latest single.

Single ‘Yasmine Alsham’, the second from the upcoming LP, is a compelling and politically charged anthem featuring Wael Alkak. An independent artist from Damascus and previous Acid Arab collaborator, Wael is an experienced songwriter whose distinctive electro-chaâbi music draws from the folk traditions of the Levant. ‘Yasmine Asham’ has a sinuous melodic power which snares the ear and penetrates the mind.
