Rebirth Records celebrates 20th Anniversary

2026 marks a milestone: 20 years of Rebirth Records.

A decade after the iconic compilation curated by the maestro Larry Heard (aka Mr. Fingers) we are proud to present Rebirth 20, a special anniversary project celebrating two decades of sound, vision and evolution.

A limited-edition double vinyl, scheduled for release on Record Store Day 2026, followed by a digital series beginning in June, featuring new remixes of some of the label’s most iconic tracks alongside rare gems that may have quietly slipped through the cracks, now ready to shine again.

Names like Alva Noto, Glenn Underground, Makèz, Luciano & Michel Cleis, Cromby, Terrence Parker, Martinou, DJ Babatr, RSS Disco, Liquid Liquid, Red Axes, Silicone Soul, Cengiz, Einka are included in the package and more to be announced for the official release. A dialogue between generations connected by a shared belief in timeless sound.

Founded in 2006 by the visionary Daniele ‘Shield’ Contrini, Rebirth has grown from a passion project in Brescia (Italy) into a global reference point for quality, creativity and authenticity in electronic music. Over the years the label has nurtuerd and championed before others forward- thinking artists such as Blond:ish, Rampa, Danilo Plessow, Jimi Jules and Argy while also releasing music from visionaries such as Agoria, Luciano, Michel Cleis, Dave Lee, Butch, Chaim, Emanuel Satie, Marc Romboy, Freaks (Luke Solomon & Justin Harris).

Alongside these, Rebirth has built a strong in-house family of exceptional talents including NUfrequency, Robytek, Chromatic Filters, Corrado Bucci, Blue Mondays and Gianluca Pegoiani.

“Where I started, and where I'm going. Twenty years of music transforming a seed into a new universe”. Rebirth looks to the future by returning to its original spirit, to its primordial creative energy. “Rebirth 20 was born from the most authentic place in my history.” Daniele recalls “The visual concept is based on a series of childhood drawings I made when I was 3/4 years old, which my dear mother carefully preserved and gave back to me last year before passing away. They have become the emotional core of this project, symbolizing my creative origins, transformed into future.”

Two decades on, Rebirth remains what it has always been: a place where music, art and emotion converge. A label that never stops moving forward while staying true to its soul.
