Chinois Ibiza, now established as an international leading venue for the discerning music lover, welcomes the underground heroes of SlapFunk Records for a funk-filled one-off showcase, Tuesday 16^th September.  

SlapFunk began with illegal parties in Utrecht. Now Amsterdam-based, they play top world venues and release reliably funky music across genres like Bass, UKG, House, Breaks, Techno, Minimal, Dub… as long as it frees minds and ignites dancefloors. A perfect fit for Chinois with its inclusivity, diversity and dancefloor-first ethos. 

Chinois’ fourth season is their biggest yet, as they gain worldwide appeal thanks to their inclusive, diverse, dancefloor-first ethos and welcoming community. Set within Ibiza Gran Hotel in the heart of the scenic Marina Botafoch, the intimate venue provides an open-hearted welcome to enjoy the world’s best resident and guest DJs and a much-needed escape after dark from the every day.

Dungeon Funk (aka Samuel Deep b2b Tristan Da Cunha b2b Brawther): SlapFunk co-founder Samuel Deep(House, Garage…) forms a triple threat with Dungeon Meat, aka UK-based underground super-selector Tristan Da Cunha (returning to Chinois after May’s Appetite party) & French House veteran of cool Brawther, all performing as Dungeon Funk. 

Samuel Deep b2b Saoirse: Samuel encores, this time alongside London’s revered underground trailblazer and trUst label/party boss Saoirse (returning to Chinois after April’s Appetite party). 

Mella Dee B2B Laidlaw: (both Chinois debutantes): UK’s silver-disc-winning Techno/House/UKG master Mella Deegoes B2B with fellow-UK Laidlaw, co-founder of Beeyou, & FUSE/Infuse regular.

Yass & Mali: Ibiza-raised island favourites, they will return to Chinois this year for Appetite (upcoming) as well as SlapFunk, ‘one of our favourite parties’.
