Barbara+Marco return with a reimagined chapter of their eikasia album with new six tracks, unveiling a carefully curated collection of remixes and reworks that expand the emotional and sonic universe of the original release. Out February 13 on Secret Lovers Records, //eikasia/phos_remixs/rework brings together an international group of artists who reinterpret the material through deeply personal, textural, and genre-fluid lenses.

The project moves seamlessly from ambient and cinematic atmospheres to rhythm-driven and experimental territories. Each contributor approaches //eikasia/phos_remixs/rework not so much as a fixed object, but more as a living structure, reshaping its forms while preserving its intimate core.

The release highlights the diversity of its contributors, with recordings taking place across Italy, Israel, and the United States. From the ambient sensibility of Open to the Sea to the cinematic rework of Roisín, by Fabio Talloru, and forward-leaning electronic reinterpretations of Autarkic, Sandro, and Rizzi, //eikasia/phos_remixs/rework stands as a collective exploration of distance and, memory.

The project was mastered by Lorenzo Montanà at Atlantisound Studio in Piacenza, Italy, ensuring cohesion while allowing each track’s individuality to shine. Visual identity and artwork are signed by Dario Perissutti (tetotero.com), reinforcing the release’s tactile and introspective character.

Barbara+Marco note:

“Endless thanks to all the incredible artists for their beautiful reworks. We’re beyond excited to finally share this project with you.”
