WARM (World Airplay Radio Monitor) launches a weekly, genre-based global radio chart format

WARM, the leading radio airplay monitoring service, launches its innovative genre-based global radio charts series, significantly shifting from the known Top 40 formats. As the first edition, the highly anticipated Global Dance Radio Chart is now live and has seen fantastic industry response since its launch on Nov 8th, 2024.

Unlike conventional radio charts that blend all genres, WARM's new chart series provides focused, genre-specific insights powered by the company's proprietary audio fingerprinting technology. This technology monitors radio stations worldwide 24/7, delivering precise, real-time airplay data.

"Traditional Top 40 charts don't tell the full story, especially for genre-specific music," says Jesper Skibsby, Founder and CEO of WARM. "Our genre-based approach gives industry professionals exactly what they need - clear, actionable insights into their musical space, helping them identify hit songs and trends before they hit the mainstream."

The weekly charts will be delivered by email to subscribers every Friday, providing continuous insights into genre-specific radio airplay performance globally. Following the “Global Dance Chart”, WARM will roll out dedicated charts for other genres as well, and subscribers are welcome to provide feedback and actively suggest their favorite, local or new radio station for the chart pool.

With additional genre airplay charts being added over the coming months, each designed to provide targeted insights for its respective genres or markets, WARM is gearing up to make a positive difference within the music industry.

This launch represents a significant evolution in airplay monitoring, offering the music industry a nuanced, focused, and accessible approach to understanding genre-specific radio performance worldwide.
