FunkT!de Returns to SUNCTURE with Latest Single ‘Burning’

Out August 28, FunkT!de continues his prolific run on Sunora’s label with a hypnotic blend of punchy rhythms, atmospheric production and trademark creative flair. 

SUNCTURE continues its growing catalogue with ‘Burning’, the latest single from FunkT!de. Arriving as another addition to the producer’s growing body of work on the label, the track builds on his instinct for groove-led house music while introducing another distinct chapter in his evolving sound.

‘Burning’ is driven by a tight, rolling groove and an infectious rhythmic pulse, bringing together layered percussion, silky smooth vocal samples and FunkT!de’s trademark sense of musicality. The production develops through subtle shifts in rhythm, texture and atmosphere, creating a track that feels immediate on the dancefloor while rewarding closer listening.

Rather than relying on a single dominant hook, ‘Burning’ builds its character through the interplay between groove, texture and movement. Its arrangement gradually opens out, allowing individual elements and organic instrumentation to emerge and recede while maintaining a steady sense of momentum. The result is a confident, club-focused production with plenty of depth and personality.

The release adds another dimension to FunkT!de’s close relationship with SUNCTURE. He played a central role in the label’s launch alongside Sunora, contributing to the debut Echoes of Light EP before returning with his solo single ‘Hold It Right There’. He subsequently reunited with Sunora for ‘Disco Voices’ and followed with the distinctive ‘Locelafalit’, showcasing his versatility across groove-heavy house, disco-inflected sounds and more instrumentally driven productions.

Across each release, FunkT!de has become an important part of the musical identity SUNCTURE has been building since its launch. His productions share the label’s emphasis on warmth, groove and musicality, while maintaining a character of their own.

Founded by Sunora – the collaborative project of Chertkovski and Alar – SUNCTURE was created as a home for groove-led, emotionally resonant electronic music and as a platform for artists who share the duo’s instinctive approach to music. Since opening its catalogue with Echoes of Light, the imprint has developed through releases from Sunora, FunkT!de and resident artist Kapir, establishing a sound that moves fluidly between melodic house, indie dance and contemporary club music.
