Argentinian artist Juan Hansen presents his debut album Ultrasonido — twelve tracks spanning indie dance, tech house and soft melodic house, released on his own newly founded label, Ultrasonido Records.

After his breakthrough Boiler Room appearance in 2019, Juan has been on a relentless quest to push the boundaries, playing huge stages around the globe and becoming one of the figureheads of the Argentinian electronic music world. As an outstanding live artist, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who shows on stage that he feels the groove, Juan melts two worlds together: deep emotional songs and straight dancefloor tracks.

Ultrasonido combines both. The album is a clear evolution of Juan Hansen, presenting a wider range of his sound, which he also brings to his live performances. It is a journey through the musical world of Juan Hansen.

Sentíme este gru is the invitation at the heart of the album. Roughly translated as “feel this groove with me”, it carries the unmistakable cadence of Buenos Aires street language. It’s how a friend would pull you onto a dancefloor.

Ultrasonido is built around that gesture. Every track is an attempt to translate a feeling into sound. Some grooves come from the club. Some come from a guitar broken in half on a hot afternoon. Some from a vocal whispered, not sung. The thread between them is the same: feel this. Don’t think about it. Move.

Across twelve tracks, Juan moves between dancefloor-driven cuts and song-shaped moments, between Spanish and English. It’s a debut that maps where he comes from while marking clearly where he’s going.

The album’s journey began with Ninjas (ft. Clér Letiv), released on May 29 as the first announcement from Ultrasonido. A tribute to the audience in Argentina, the track is a homage to the way Argentinians experience music: deeply connected and fully present. The lyrics describe the “ninjas” on the dancefloor as people who dance a lot and talk very little. For Juan, they represent a silent but very intense energy — and, in many ways, the spirit Argentine crowds are known for around the world.

This was followed by Inside My Mind (Juan Hansen × Franco BA, ft. Miko Franconi) on June 19, released through Innellea’s Belonging label. Uplifting and indie-leaning, the track features Miko Franconi on vocals, with Franco BA joining Juan as co-producer.

On July 10, Juan teamed up with Brigado Crew for Gambeta, a dembow-tinged tech house cut built for the floor. The track continues the album’s movement between organic influences and club-focused production, bringing a distinctly rhythmic edge to the record.

Next came Neon Maze on July 31 — the album’s most direct club statement. Late-night and hypnotic, it is a track made to be heard loud, capturing the more driving side of Juan’s sound.

Now, Ultrasonido arrives in full, with two final pieces completing the journey. “Love Also Bites” (ft. Marley Waters) is the album’s emotional breakbeat closer and today’s Focus Radio/Listener Track. Marley Waters’ vocal carries the contrast at the heart of the record: a groove that holds you and lets you go.

Alongside it comes “Sentir Asi (Part II)”, today’s Focus DJ Track. Following the success of “Sentir Asi”, the track takes the story further — a clear club bomb sitting between indie dance and tech house, and the track that underlines the album’s central message: you better feel this groove.

With Ultrasonido, Juan Hansen brings together the different sides of his musical identity — the songwriter, the live musician, the vocalist and the electronic artist — into one cohesive statement. It is the result of years spent moving between genres, instruments, dancefloors and stages, and a first chapter for both Juan and his newly founded label, Ultrasonido Records.

Juan Hansen's story doesn't start on the dancefloor, it starts with acoustic instruments. He built his foundation in the indie and rock scenes of Argentina before crossing into electronic music, a journey that's still audible in every track he makes. After years of building his profile with live performances, mesmerizing audiences from Cosquín Rock and Ultra in Argentina to

Watergate in Berlin, Burning Man in the Nevada desert, and Grand Factory in Beirut. His search is real and visceral; a search for the different, mixing genres without prejudice, with a seriously playful attitude. Positioned within a new generation of artists dedicated to improvising on stage, Juan fuses electronic sounds with analog instruments and organic soundscapes. There's no genre cage. Ultrasonido is his debut album and the launch of his own label, Ultrasonido Records. A long-form statement after years of singles, EPs, and shows around the globe.
